I’m a passionate and proficient multimedia artist based in Decatur, IL. I pride myself on my creative problem-solving, outstanding attention to detail, and a unique variety of skills and perspectives.

My Story:

As a transgender woman from a small midwestern town, my work offers a unique perspective and voice. I’ve faced a lifetime of adversity head-first, and I’ve learned that success is always greater outside of my comfort zone. I’m constantly challenging myself, and I’m already well on my way to leaving a legacy of notable firsts.

During my early years at Millikin University, I was the first transgender woman to be accepted into a campus sorority, breaking down sex boundaries and opening the door to acceptance and community for underrepresented people on campus.

In the spring of 2024, I was the first student to have an animation entry win Best In Show at Millikin’s annual “Images in Motion” film festival, challenging preconceptions about what impactful videography can look like.

In the fall of 2025, I developed and integrated the first campus-wide equipment cataloging system for Millikin’s recording arts facilities, which has boosted studio efficiency and created educational opportunities that will continue to be used long after I’ve graduated.

I’ve proudly built my ethos around consistently breaking the mold and challenging expectations. In my unrelenting chase for excellence, I have been bestowed the highest honor that Millikin University can extend to its students—the Scovill Award—as the result of years transcending labels and cultural boundaries to better myself and my community.

Artistry Redefined:

My versatility and vision are what make me one of a kind. None of my work exists in a vacuum. Original music necessitates unique artwork and promotional materials. Photography and videography inspires accompanying music and graphic design pieces.

I always see new exciting avenues for creative projects, and my passion for artistic expression has led to me picking up countless new skills rather than outsourcing work to specialist contractors. After years of study and professional experience, my skills now form a web that encapsulates countless media, genres, and styles.
