Life of the Party marks a major shift in my discography. It was my first single recorded entirely within a professional recording studio using live instrumentation. I was given the opportunity to write a composition for a class of music students during my junior year, and I took the opportunity to create something that could never be replicated in a digital environment, utilizing complex rhythms and cinematic harmonies that highlight the incredible tones of expertly-played electric guitars and violins.

The song's lyrics discuss the challenges I've faced in my college career while dealing with deep recurring trauma. All composing, lyric writing, mixing, and mastering was completed by me, with recording sessions aided by my student recording team.
