Heart for Evil is a fictional true crime TV show with a dark, gritty tone. I created a highly stylized animated intro for the series, using 3D animation, complex layering, and unique effects. I wrote an original soundtrack to accompany the intro sequence, and used subtle sound design to add another layer of immersion.

The animation was made in Adobe After Effects, with much of the process being done in reverse. The final logo was created first, and each letter in the title was separated to a different layer. Then, the layers were strategically scattered throughout 3D space in order to look random without looking sloppy. I then moved cameras throughout the scene, added additional text and visuals, and created a cohesive scene as the letters moved into position.
