Mackenzie Mann's cover of Nat King Cole's iconic "Nature Boy" was recorded in the Millitrax recording studio, where I served as her assistant engineer on the session. Following the session, I was entrusted to mix and master the recording. I composited takes together and did basic mixing in Pro Tools, and then bounced the stems to Ableton Live for in-depth mixing and mastering. My client was very happy with the final mix, and the project received praise from peers and Millikin faculty for its clean sound and smooth energy.
